What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator position at Nakatomi Inc.?
We are seeking a PART TIME HYBRID Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to operate and create for 2 of our Instagram business accounts. In this role, you will craft compelling content, manage social media platforms, and develop strategies that resonate with our target audiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create posts/reels/videos/stories on Instagram (which auto feeds to Facebook) for 2 business accounts. Averaging 1 post/story/reel a day.
- Upload information and create posts etc. from the business owner and shop manager for events, upcoming releases, promotions, and create archival content.
- Grow the lesser used accounts, increase audience engagement, gain followers, follow more accounts.
- Focus on filming, editing, and creating more video driven content.
- Brainstorm trending and viral ideas to increase engagement.
- Time content to be shared during high use of the platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional owners, managers, and staff.
- Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency before publication.
- Checking, reading messages and responding or forwarding to the appropriate staff.
- Reading, checking, and replying to comments to increase engagement, answer questions, and ensure safety.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to social media marketing efforts and prepare reports to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Create a monthly update for the owner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must own/use a personal smart cell phone, with the potential of a company phone in several months.
- Proven experience in social media management and related roles
- Excellent communication skills with keen attention to detail for proofreading and content creation tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Google Suite, Dropbox, and Instagram.
WAGE: $21 an hour
BENEFITS: Currently, Nakatomi does not offer benefits to PT employees. FREE PARKING.
PART TIME: 4 to 5 hours a week, Flexible. Coordinates with the Owner and staff on a weekly basis.
Hybrid Role: Mostly remote. At least, Once a week will be onsite or at an event to film/photograph content.
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
