Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver goods along designated routes, ensuring timely arrivals
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist in the loading process by organizing cargo securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records for accountability and tracking purposes.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving; utilize manual transmission skills when applicable to optimize vehicle operation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong track record of safe driving and route management.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicle preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, route planning, and safety protocols related to commercial driving
Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per week
