Construction Inspector

Najarian Associates is looking to welcome a full-time Construction Inspector to join our team! An ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, willingness to work cohesively as part of a team, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Our professionals are all comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

What we are looking for:

• 3 years of experience
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• NICET Certification (PREFERRED)
• ACI certifications (PREFERRED)
• Applicants must be comfortable working within deadlines and utilize appropriate time management skills
• Practical experience using Microsoft Office and other common productivity software

The role:

• Conduct on-site inspections of construction tasks to ensure projects are being executed according to approved plans and specifications
  • Roadway inspections (earthwork, drainage, milling & paving, et. al.)
  • Structural inspections (foundations, piles, MSE walls, et. al.)
  • ADA Compliance (curbs & sidewalks, ramps)
  • Intersection / Traffic Signal
• Document and relay to your supervisor all daily progress and movement of equipment and materials using a report template as well as complete various other reports
• Track material usage for processing payments
• Prepare as-built drawings
• Act as an on-site project liaison
• Maintain project files and be prepared to engage in meetings / project progress reviews
