-Client Interaction
Greet clients as they arrive, offer refreshments, ensure waiting area is welcoming
-Appointment Management
Book, reschedule, or cancel appointments (by phone, online, walk-ins)
-Communication
Answer phones, emails, social media messages; respond to client inquiries
-Check-in & Notifications
Let nail techs know their clients have arrived; call or message clients for reminders or no-shows
-Payments & POS
Process payments (cash, credit), issue receipts, refund when needed
-Client Records
Enter/update client data in your salon software (contact info, service history)
-Walk-ins & Consults
Welcome walk-ins, explain services & pricing, upsell services or retail products
-Problem resolution
Handle client complaints or issues; escalate to owner/manager when needed
-Clean & Orderly Space
Keep the reception area tidy, refill retail stock, ensure bathrooms/space are neat
-Inventory & Retail
Monitor retail product levels, reorder when needed, assist with retail sales
-Reporting & Admin
Assist with daily sales reports, reconcile cash drawer, light administrative tasks (filing, data entry)
-Marketing Support
Inform clients of promotions, maintain social media inbox or show specials, possibly help with client outreach
