The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, self-directed Commercial Real Estate Agent to join our Kalamazoo team. This is a commission-based role designed for a seasoned sales professional who is ready to leverage an established network and the backing of a respected regional brand and global platform. The right candidate is entrepreneurial by nature, relationship-driven in approach, and proven in their ability to generate and close business.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who has done this before, knows what it takes, and is ready to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and maintain a personal book of business in the commercial real estate market across Southwest Michigan
  • Represent buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants in the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of commercial properties
  • Conduct market research, property analysis, and financial underwriting to support client decision-making
  • Build and sustain long-term client relationships through consistent communication, market expertise, and professional service
  • Collaborate with NAI Wisinski colleagues to identify co-brokerage opportunities and serve clients across property types
  • Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline, and transactions within the firm's CRM system
  • Stay current on local market trends, economic conditions, zoning, and regulatory changes affecting commercial real estate
  • Represent NAI Wisinski at community, industry, and networking events in the Kalamazoo market

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 10 years of professional sales experience; commercial real estate experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of success in a commission-based sales role
  • Proven ability to independently develop and grow a book of business
  • Active Michigan Real Estate Salesperson or Associate Broker license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and transactions simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Established relationships in the Kalamazoo and Southwest Michigan commercial market
  • Experience with office, industrial, retail, or investment property types
  • Familiarity with MLS, CoStar, LoopNet, or comparable commercial real estate platforms
  • CCIM, SIOR, or other professional designation a plus
