Senior Admissions Advisor

Under the direct supervision, the Senior Admissions Advisor is responsible in facilitating the selection and enrollment of qualified student applicants for school admissions with emphasis on customer service. This position is an entry level position that responds to phones and web generated inquiries from prospective students and guides them through the admissions process. You will conduct campus tours for prospective students. Provide excellent customer service to prospective and enrolled students in accordance with the mission and purpose of the university. Must be flexible with work schedule & Saturday work schedule. This is a hybrid role (ideally working on campus 3-4 days per week).

Duties And Responsibilities

• Identify, contact and maintain relationships with prospective students throughout the inquiry, application, admitted, and enrollment phases.
• Complete a high volume of outbound inquiry and applicant calls. Respond to incoming emails and calls.
• Coach prospective applicants on the admissions process and creating urgency regarding deadlines and requirements. Contact prospects assigned to them using the phone, email, and other approved methods
• Compile and enter inquiry and admissions data in CRM, including daily activity and event data. Issue reports upon request.
• Conduct initial applicant interviews and follow up phone meetings with prospective students
• Maintain contact with candidates throughout the enrollment process and into their academic careers
• Consistently meet or exceed established individual production goals
• Accurately records daily activity using the company’s information systems according to policy
• Adhere to all company and regulatory rules and requirements
• Able to work with people from a variety of diverse social and economic backgrounds
• Balancing strong closing skills and a drive to meet goals with a nurturing, student-centered approach.
• Ability to take ownership of the inquiry and application funnel: Strong follow up, organization skills, exceptional time-management, and problem solving
• Schedule and host recruitment events, including individual consultations and admissions interviews, to determine a prospective student's interests, education/career goals and qualifications.

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree required. 3-5 years of customer service, sales, marketing, or recruiting skills Strong sales and rapport building skills. Prior Admissions experience preferred
