Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, or related field **OR equivalent combination of education and professional experience
Required Qualifications
Experience designing and developing instructor-led, on-the-job, and e-learning training programs
Strong knowledge of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodology
Experience using analysis tools to identify job knowledge and skill requirements
Ability to develop performance assessments, level 1 and level 2 evaluations
Experience collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to validate course accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent grammar
Ability to manage multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines
Experience Producing
oDesign documents
oFacilitator guides
oParticipant guides
oTechnology-supported learning interventions
Strong facilitation and Train-the-Trainer delivery skills
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional strategy development
Experience evaluating learning effectiveness and implementing course improvements
Familiarity with modern learning delivery technologies and training development tools
Job Summary
The Learning Designer III is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality learning solutions using Instructional Systems Design methodology. This role partners closely with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to identify learning needs, create effective training interventions, and evaluate program effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have strong instructional design expertise, adult learning knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple training development initiatives in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop instructor-led, on-the-job, and e-learning training solutions
Conduct needs analysis to identify skill and knowledge gaps
Apply ISD methodologies to create effective learning materials
Collaborate with SMEs to validate technical content accuracy
Develop facilitator guides, participant materials, and supporting documentation
Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions for instructors and facilitators
Build assessments and evaluation tools to measure training effectiveness
Identify and implement appropriate instructional delivery methods
Observe newly launched programs and gather learner/instructor feedback
Analyze feedback and revise learning interventions for continuous improvement
Stay current on emerging learning technologies and delivery methods
Manage multiple design projects while meeting established deadlines
