Manufacturing Technician – Biopharmaceutical Production

Position summary
Support the production of biotherapeutic medicines in a highly automated, cGMP-regulated manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include preparing materials and equipment, operating and cleaning tanks and filtration systems, preparing buffers, supporting chromatography operations, accurately documenting work, and following all SOPs and safety requirements.
Schedule
- Front Days: Sunday–Tuesday and alternating Wednesday
- Front Nights: Sunday–Tuesday and alternating Saturday
- Shifts begin around 6:30–7:30 AM or PM
- Must be available for weekends, overtime, and off-shifts
- First two weeks of training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Ideal Candidate
- Hands-on or mechanical experience
- Comfortable following detailed procedures without improvising
- Strong attention to documentation and accuracy
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a team
- Technical education, certification, or college coursework preferred
- Pharmaceutical experience is helpful but not required
Physical and Work Requirements
- Stand or walk for up to 90% of the shift
- Climb up to 30 flights of stairs per shift
- Frequently lift up to 40 pounds
- Wear cleanroom garments and required protective equipment
- Work around pressurized equipment, steam, chemicals, and hazardous materials
- No jewelry or makeup in cleanroom areas
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a DOT physical may be required
