Summary Of Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming, knowledgeable, and engaging experience for every customer
- Build relationships with customers and help identify furniture and décor that fit their needs, style, and space
- Actively drive sales and contribute toward store sales goals
- Develop strong knowledge of Nadeau's furniture, materials, styles, and unique product assortment
- Assist customers with furniture selection, styling ideas, and product questions
- Maintain the appearance of the showroom in accordance with company visual standards
- Assist with merchandising and rearranging furniture throughout the showroom
- Support day-to-day store operations and work collaboratively with the store team
- Safely assist with moving and lifting furniture as part of normal store operations
Experience & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of retail, furniture, home décor, interior design, or sales experience preferred
- Strong sales ability with a customer-focused approach
- Knowledge of or genuine interest in furniture, home décor, and interior design
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable engaging customers, asking questions, and recommending products based on their needs
- Professional, dependable, and able to follow direction while also taking initiative
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced retail environment
- Basic computer and math skills
- Must have reliable transportation
- Weekend availability is required; schedule flexibility is preferred
- Must be willing and able to regularly lift and move furniture weighing 50 lbs, with assistance when appropriate
