Job Description
A licensed Masters degree level professional who provides behavioral emergency level health assessments in collaboration with a medical team of physicians and registered nurses. Highly trained behavioral health professional who demonstrates autonomy and critical thinking skills and consultation in handling emergent psychiatric crises.
- PRN position - must have availability for days, midshifts, nights, weekdays and weekends.
- Minimum expectation for all PRNs is 3 shifts per month.
- Collaborates with members of health care team in development of a transition plan and addresses needs in a timely manner.
- Participates in program planning and development to meet the needs of customers within the health care system and community.
- Provides patient and family education.
- This role does both traditional ED medical social work AND behavioral health assessments
