POSITION: Full-Time, On-Site, Salary (to be discussed in interview)

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for overseeing and leading the activities of the Sales team including managing merchandisers and reset teams and maintaining a high level of in-store execution.

SCHEDULE:
  • Monday – Friday, some weekends as needed
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides leadership to the sales team.
  • Motivates and encourages sales team to ensure quotas are met.
  • Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
  • Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
  • Assigns territories and sets quotas for sales teams.
  • Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.
  • Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
  • Collaborates with sales leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervises sales and merchandiser employees within the sales department
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Accounting Software (QuickBooks);

  • Spreadsheet Software (Excel);
  • Order Processing Systems;
  • Word Processing Software (Word);
  • Electronic Mail Software (Outlook);
  • Presentation software (PowerPoint);
  • Other skills required:
  • At least three years of sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
