What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager position at Nacelle Solutions?
Company Description Nacelle is a gas conditioning and processing company serving two distinct markets: biogas and oil and gas. In biogas, we run facilities across dairy, landfill, and food waste helping operators and energy developers capture methane and convert it into pipeline-quality RNG. In oil and gas, we help drilling and completions teams displace diesel fuel through field-gas conditioning and distribution built for real operating conditions. Across both businesses, we help customers capture more value from their gas by reducing disruption, making sound decisions early, and executing safely so performance stays steady when it matters most.
Role Description The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in either Pittsburgh, PA or Charlotte, NC. This individual will lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range financial planning, partnering closely with operations and leadership to provide insight into business performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining financial models, analyzing variances and trends, preparing management reports and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual review cycles. The FP&A Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate capital investments, assess project profitability, and identify cost and efficiency opportunities across both the biogas and oil and gas segments. The role will also support strategic initiatives by developing scenario analyses, presenting clear recommendations, and enhancing financial tools, processes, and KPIs to improve decision-making.
