Host Hostess at Harry Caray's Short Stop at Midway Airport

North American Concessions in Chicago, IL is looking for one Host/Hostess/Cashier to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and making them feel welcome
• Handle All To-Go Orders
• Place Orders for Non-Tech Guests
• Track all Mobile Orders
• Seat Guests in Dining Room
• Help Clean and Keep Restaurant Clean
• Clear and Clean all Dining Room Tables as Guests leave.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred
• Must be able to obtain food safety certifications, i.e., Basset, Food Handlers, & Allergens
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling of up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand for up to 90% of the shift
• Must have the ability to get badged by The Chicago Department of Aviation, which includes a federal background check, as well as maintaining the badge.
• Must be able to uphold all CDA and TSA regulations related to safety and security
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Strong organizational and motivational skills
• Must have Open Availability to work both the morning and/or the afternoon shifts and on any/all days of the week.

Health Insurance, Dental Insurance and Vision Insurance are offered after employees pass their 90-day probationary period, and if elected, it will begin on the first day of the month following the passage of the probationary period.

PTO (Paid Time Off):Employees will receive 80 hours of PTO after accruing a full year of full-time service.Employees are permitted to begin using accrued PTO time after they work a minimum of six (6) months.PTO will increase at the five (5) year mark and at the ten (10) year mark.

Paid Sick Time:Employees receive 40 hours of Paid Sick Time per year and they are permitted to start using it after they pass their 90-day probationary period.
