Duties

• Assist Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans that incorporate Korean language immersion and early childhood curriculum standards
• Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for children
• Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that promote fine- and gross-motor skills, social-emotional development, and cultural awareness
• Help facilitate classroom routines such as circle time, snack time, outdoor play, and rest periods while ensuring children’s needs are met promptly
• Support behavioral management strategies to encourage positive behavior and address challenges with patience and consistency
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a supportive learning community

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with young children in preschool or childcare settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and classroom management techniques
• Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities or autism is a plus
• Familiarity with curriculum development and behavior management strategies
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Korean required
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff in a team-oriented environment
• Technical proficiency in educational tools or classroom technology is advantageous
• Passion for early childhood education, cultural immersion, and supporting diverse learners including toddlers and preschoolers
• Demonstrated ability to create inclusive learning experiences tailored to individual needs
