Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Operations Coordinator to help drive execution, coordination, and growth of chapter initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning and Execution

▪ Build and maintain a 12 month programming calendar

▪ Coordinate logistics for networking, career, and social events

▪ Research venues and manage bookings

▪ Ensure events are accessible and engaging

Partnerships and Outreach

▪ Connect with local companies, sponsors, and organizations

▪ Build partnerships to increase participation

▪ Explore sponsorship opportunities

Communications and Marketing

▪ Support LinkedIn and Instagram presence

▪ Coordinate event photos and posts

▪ Develop monthly newsletters

Organizational Coordination

▪ Support chapter and board meetings

▪ Track subcommittee actions

▪ Ensure alignment across initiatives

Fundraising Support

▪ Execute fundraising initiatives

▪ Support sponsorship and engagement activities

Research and Execution Support

▪ Research engagement strategies for students and professionals

▪ Track outreach and follow ups

▪ Implement leadership ideas

Initial Priorities

▪ Develop annual event calendar

▪ Secure venues and partnerships

▪ Establish communication cadence

▪ Begin outreach efforts

▪ Support fall planning

Qualifications

▪ Strong organizational and communication skills

▪ Experience in event planning preferred

▪ Familiarity with LinkedIn and social media

▪ Self starter with initiative

▪ Interest in accounting or business

▪ Exposure to AI tools
