Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently using POS systems; process payments smoothly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including fine dining options, to answer guest questions confidently
- Support guest relations by providing exceptional service that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews
- Uphold sanitation standards and food safety regulations consistently throughout your shift
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining genuine guest engagement
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles or guest relations within the food industry is highly desirable
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting trays or cleaning
