Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
• Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently using POS systems; process payments smoothly
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including fine dining options, to answer guest questions confidently
• Support guest relations by providing exceptional service that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews
• Uphold sanitation standards and food safety regulations consistently throughout your shift

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining genuine guest engagement
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles or guest relations within the food industry is highly desirable
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting trays or cleaning
