Responsibilities
- Take and accurately process food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring swift service.
- Make and serve drinks and meals with professionalism, maintaining a friendly and engaging demeanor at all times.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently, including processing payments and providing correct change.
- Clean tables so its ready for the next guest
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with food handling regulations, including proper food safety protocols.
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleanup during shifts, especially during busy nights or events like banquets or catering functions.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly, upselling menu items, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate seamlessly with team members to ensure smooth operations in both fine dining and nightclub environments, demonstrating strong time management skills.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience working in nightlife venues like nightclubs or catering environments is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts.
