Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance the dining experience.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Manage table settings, clear dishes, bus tables, and assist with food preparation when needed to support smooth restaurant operations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments, and provide guests with correct change.
• Maintain guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
• Support sanitation standards by adhering to cleaning schedules, proper food handling practices, and safety protocols throughout your shift.

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub background is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable enhances efficiency in order processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and professionally.
• Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling is essential.
• Culinary or kitchen experience adds value by understanding food preparation processes and supporting team efforts behind the scenes.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail.
