Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site MRI Technologist position with travel between free standing imaging centers located throughout the Central Valley, beginning with Turlock and Lathrop, CA. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining MRI equipment. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, and MRI procedures. They should also possess excellent patient care skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to company protocol in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while undergoing the scan.
- Explain the MRI process to the patients and answer any questions they may have.
- Maintain and clean the MRI equipment regularly.
- Collaborate with radiologists to evaluate the images and to determine if additional images are needed.
- Administer intravenous injections if necessary.
- Adhere to the safety procedures and guidelines for Naadi Healthcare.
- Maintain patient records and uphold patient confidentiality.
- Assist in the scheduling of patients for scans.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technology or a related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- Additional certification as a Registered MRI Technologist (MR) is preferred.
- American Register of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification is preferred
- Experience operating MRI equipment and performing MRI procedures.
- Strong understanding of magnetic resonance imaging principles.
- Excellent patient service skills and communication skills
- Physical stamina to assist in moving patients and equipment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
