Star Noodle located on the ocean in Lahaina is now open at its new location on Front Street next door to its sister restaurant Aloha Mixed Plate. Star Noodle is an award-winning restaurant for over a decade offering fresh noodles, sake cocktails and Asian-inspired share plates. Star Noodle continues to be one of Maui's most popular eateries, as well as a great place to work with a fabulous view. We are seeking highly motivated and service-oriented staff to join our team! - Culinary experience in a supervisory or training role required with a minimum 1 year
- Is supportive and assists with all aspects of the kitchen functioning as a team
- Assists in overseeing the training and performance of the team in terms of
standards.
- Works with management team to recognize trends with current and future
- Adheres to and Updates recipe books as needed.
- Attends and participates in pre-shifts regularly
- Coaches the teams to maintain Health & Safety standards.
- Makes on the spot decisions that are in support of and consistent with the
- Communicates with the Sous Chef, Executive Chef and Management team
- Attends Mandatory meetings for Management and Star Noodle Staff
- Creates the work schedule for the team
- Has worked in a high-end, fast paced, and quality driven restaurant environment
- Has an appreciation for and working knowledge of really good food
- Provides leadership that inspires teamwork, generates energy, enthusiasm, and drives results
