The Role
The Eastern Regional Sales Manager is a senior sales leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening customer partnerships, and leading a high performing regional sales team across the Eastern U.S.
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this leader will develop and execute regional sales strategy, align tactical initiatives with enterprise goals, and actively coach, motivate, and develop sales talent. The ideal candidate is both highly strategic and hands on—someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and leads with clarity, accountability, and purpose.
This position is remote within the Northeast region and requires regular travel throughout the territory, including proximity to the Baltimore/Aberdeen, MD area.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
• Partner with the Vice President of Sales to develop, implement, and execute the N9NE regional sales strategy.
• Translate corporate growth objectives into actionable regional plans that drive revenue, margin, and market share growth.
• Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and accountability for the regional sales team.
• Identify new business opportunities and strengthen strategic customer partnerships across the territory.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
• Lead, coach, and support the regional sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee day to day sales operations, ensuring consistent execution, communication, and follow through.
• Support talent development through ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and skills development.
Operational & Administrative Excellence
• Ensure effective coordination between sales, operations, marketing, and customer service functions.
• Drive consistent use of sales processes, tools, and reporting to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Champion a positive, inclusive, and results driven sales culture aligned with N9NE’s values.
Qualifications & Experience
• 5 years of experience in regional sales management or comparable sales leadership roles.
• Strong working knowledge of sales strategy, product positioning, marketing alignment, and operational execution.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop sales teams in a growth oriented environment.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook); experience with Microsoft Teams preferred.
• High attention to detail, strong problem solving skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree required.

Work Location & Travel
