Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to serve as a Security Technician Scheduler/Receptionist. This dual-role position is responsible for managing technician schedules, coordinating service appointments, and providing front-desk support to clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling & Coordination
- Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for security technicians.
- Coordinate service calls, installations, and maintenance appointments.
- Monitor technician availability and adjust schedules as needed.
- Communicate with clients to confirm appointments and provide updates.
- Track job progress and ensure timely completion of work orders.
Reception & Administrative Support
- Greet visitors and answer incoming calls in a professional manner.
- Respond to client inquiries and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain organized records of service requests, technician logs, and client communications.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks.
- Support office operations and ensure a welcoming front-desk environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- Experience in scheduling, dispatching, or administrative support (security or technical services industry a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software (e.g., AutoTask, ServiceTitan, FieldAware, or similar).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with security systems, access control, or surveillance technologies.
