CVOR Surgical Technologist
Newark, DE (Full-Time, Permanent)
Sign-on Bonus: $15,000
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technologist to join a leading healthcare team in Newark, Delaware.
Position Highlights:
- Day shift schedule - 4x10-hour shifts per week
- On-call required
Salary range:
- • $52,000 – $71,500 (without national certification)
- • $57,000 – $78,500 (with national certification)
Salary negotiable with significant CVOR specialty experience
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (required for hires post-2009)
- Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience
- Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) specialty experience required
- BCLS certification
- Certification from an approved body (NBSTSA - CST, or NCCT - TS-C, or AST)
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrub duties across neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Function independently within established protocols
- Perform unit tasks assigned by the RN
- Maintain confidentiality with sound judgment, tact, and professionalism
- Utilize proficient computer and keyboarding skills
