About the Role:

N2S Healthcare is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join one of our leading healthcare clients in Dover, Delaware. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in healthcare accounting, tax filing, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review annual tax filings, including Forms 990, 1120, and 5500.
• Develop and finalize annual budgets for related entities.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure accuracy of journal entries.
• Research and document updates in regulatory tax requirements and GAAP compliance.
• Supervise accounting support staff and complete annual performance evaluations.
• Reconcile assigned accounts and post necessary adjustments each month.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FASB, AICPA, and not-for-profit accounting standards.
• Support leadership with ad hoc projects and financial reviews as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a healthcare setting, focusing on tax preparation and financial statement reporting.
• Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential and 5 years of general accounting experience across both for-profit and not-for-profit environments.

Compensation & Schedule:

💰 Salary Range: $61,000 – $98,000 (commensurate with experience)

🕒 Schedule: Day Shift | Full-time | On-site
