Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT)
Location: Detroit, Michigan
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: July 2026 – October 2026
Pay: $30-$32(hourly)
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week
Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM and 10:30 PM-7:00 AM (Both Days/night Shift is available)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and sterilization standards
- Operate sterilization equipment and monitor sterilization processes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sterilization procedures
- Inspect instruments and equipment for cleanliness, functionality, and proper assembly
- Support operating rooms and clinical departments by providing sterile products and instruments as needed
- Follow hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with supply management activities
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and uninterrupted patient care
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five (5) years of Sterile Processing experience
- Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and interpret temperature gauges and sterilization indicators
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
