What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Administrator position at N2 Services Inc?
Position: System Administrator
Locations: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months (Contact)
Required Exp;
- At least 6-8 yrs System Admin exp (Oracle, Unix, Linux, clustering, etc) Solaris helpful, but not needed.
- Must have BA or BS in a related IT concentration or other concentration minimum
- If former contractor must be eligible for a 12 month assignment and in client (Exelon) good standing
Preferred - technical:
- Ability to create original script/programs for system administration in at least one of these languages: Bourne shell, Perl, Python, Java
- Experience with Ansible playbooks
Required technical:
- Expert in Unix system administration
- Red Hat Linux (Enterprise, all versions)
- Oracle Linux
- Solaris -helpful , not required
- Storage administration (ZFS, LVM, Veritas)
- Ability to create original script/programs for system administration in at least one of these languages: Bourne shell, Perl, Python, Java
- Experience with Ansible, especially supporting build and patch automation for RHEL and OEL
- Experience with Red Hat PCS clustering
Salary : $60 - $70
