Responsibilities
- Deliver age-appropriate sports sessions across various disciplines such as basketball, flag football, soccer, t-ball, volleyball, cheer, and more.
- Foster a positive team environment by encouraging good sportsmanship, teamwork, and respectful behavior among participants.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during activities, including proper use of equipment and adherence to health guidelines.
- Manage behavior effectively through proactive behavior management techniques to maintain a focused and enjoyable atmosphere.
- Provide instruction on fundamental skills in sports and physical education while adapting coaching methods to different age groups and skill levels.
- Support the development of participants’ confidence and physical abilities through personalized feedback and encouragement.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other staff to track progress and address any concerns related to children’s participation or safety.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable.
- Experience working with preschool and elementary aged children.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children in a childcare or educational setting.
- General knowledge of a variety of sports (no one has to be an expert!)
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies to promote discipline and positive conduct during activities.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1.0 – 8.0 per week
