Seasonal Line Cook
Join our fast-paced kitchen team for the season! We’re looking for hardworking cooks who thrive in a high-volume seafood environment focused on fried seafood, quick ticket times, and consistent quality. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys energetic kitchens, teamwork, and preparing fresh food in a busy coastal-style operation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fried seafood, sandwiches, sides, and other menu items quickly and consistently
- Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation standards during high-volume service
- Operate fryers, grills, and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Work with the kitchen team to keep orders moving during busy rushes
- Prep ingredients, stock stations, and assist with daily kitchen setup and breakdown
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety procedures at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant, seafood shack, fry station, or line cook role preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation
- Team-oriented attitude with reliable work ethic and attention to detail
- Experience with fryers and seafood preparation is a plus
