Duties
- Install, remove, and replace tires using hand tools and power tools with precision and care
- Conduct tire repairs such as patching and plugging to ensure safety and longevity
- Perform wheel alignments to optimize vehicle handling and tire wear
- Rotate tires regularly to promote even tread wear and extend tire life
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes and basic inspections
- Use automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues related to tires or suspension systems
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
Requirements
- Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Hands-on mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical principles, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment safely during service tasks
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills
- Experience with tire service, alignment procedures, oil changes, and general vehicle maintenance is highly desirable
