What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Vehicle Driver position at N&N Enterprises, Inc.?
N&N Enterprises, Inc. is a service provider for FedEx Ground located in Bryan, TX.
The personal vehicle driver program allows you to use your own vehicle to deliver packages for our company. Packages are tendered to drivers at our terminal located in north Bryan. Drivers will deliver to their respective delivery areas then return to the terminal upon completion to turn in scanner and relative paperwork.
Navigation app will be provided for you to download on your phone. Scanners or documentation forms will be provided for delivery.
Pay is $15 per hour PLUS $1.00 per stop. $14 per hour while training. No limit on stops available for delivery. Minimum stops requirement per hour is 8. If you maintain the minimum you will be make $23 a hour while on the road. Efficient drivers average 12 - 20 stops per hour. This takes hourly pay to $27 -$35 per hour while on the road. Loads range of 60 - 100 stops per day.
Shifts available are Monday - Saturday. Part-time and Full-time work is available.
Work begins at 9 am and is finished when the driver completes all deliveries. Routes are designed to be finished between 3-6 pm. It is the duty of the driver to maintain efficiency to ensure route is completed on time.
It is the duty of the driver to maintain atleast liability insurance on their vehicle. You will need to provide copies of insurance to management at the first of every month.
You:
- Must provide your own vehicle and insurance
- Must have a smart phone
- Must be 21 years old
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must pass background and Motor Vehicle Record Check
Your Vehicle:
- Must be insured
- Must have current registration
- Must be less than 15 years old
- Must be less than 10,000 lbs GVWR (Examples the qualify: Sedans, Minivans, SUVs, Station Wagons, Pick up trucks with covered and secured beds)
Duties:
- Safe Driving at ALL TIMES
- Deliver the correct package to the correct customer
- Follow all delivery protocols
- Meet efficiency requirements as set forth by N&N Enterprises, Inc.
