Job Summary:
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform daily warehousing and logistics duties, ensure efficient handling, accuracy, and tracking of all shipments & inventory, and perform all other assigned responsibilities from our Plant Manager. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong fork lift and reach truck driving abilities, have hands-on warehouse experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Notes:
40 hours, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (1 hour lunch break)
Overtime as needed during “busy season” (roughly October-March).
Signing bonus (after 90 days of employment)

Responsibilities:
Use internal ERP system (SAP)
Maintain and track inventory, orders, pick lists, and logistics using SAP.
Daily warehouse operations
Able to complete assigned tasks to maintain workflow and efficiency.
Work independently and prioritize your tasks each day without needing constant direction
Document and report warehouse activities.
Maintain shipping/receiving logs, inventory reports, and other required documentation. Verify accuracy of shipments.
Inspect freight for proper labeling, damage, and accuracy before acceptance/rejection.
Ensure proper handling, documentation, and compliance with all N.K. Hurst shipping procedures.
Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams
Communicate with internal logistics team (including email and Microsoft Teams)
Coordinate with vendors and transportation providers to ensure timely inbound and outbound shipments
Maintain inventory organization and accuracy
Conduct cycle counts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper storage practices.
Ensure timely order fulfillment
Coordinate with the logistics team to accurately pick and stage customer orders on a daily schedule.
Operate and maintain all warehouse equipment
Ensure safe operation and maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Comply with all warehouse safety protocols and general sanitation
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with all company GMP's and policies.
Perform all assigned sanitation duties in warehouse area
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
3 years of warehouse experience
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong Forklift/reach truck abilities (demonstrable to management), certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification upon hire).
Strong communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
Salary : $20 - $22
