Job Overview
The Tax Senior assumes full responsibility for performing fieldwork on review, compilation, or tax engagements with minimum supervision. Trains and supervises tax seniors and staff accountants assigned to engagements. Helps implement accounting systems for new clients. Ensures higher-level personnel are kept informed about the status of engagements. Serves as an instructor or discussion leader in educational programs. Participates in the firm’s marketing activities.
You are an ideal candidate if you have 3 years of accounting experience and possess the following skills and experiences:
- Have previous experience in Tax
- Have a Bachelors or Masters’ degree in Accounting
- Hold a current and valid CPA license (or are actively pursuing)
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively (written and verbal)
- Ability to effectively lead others, provide feedback, train and develop talent
- Possess technical expertise to be a major resource for the team and have superior knowledge of applicable research tools and core software programs
