In this role, you'll spend time both on the road and in the warehouse, ensuring products are delivered accurately and efficiently while helping maintain smooth day-to-day warehouse operations. What You'll DoTransportation & Delivery:

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products and materials to customers.
• Load and unload freight in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
• Complete occasional overnight deliveries as needed.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and shipment records.
• Communicate regularly with the Logistics Manager regarding delivery schedules, customer needs, and any issues encountered on the road.
• Serve as a professional ambassador of the company while interacting with customers and vendors.

Equipment & Compliance:

• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on trucks and equipment.
• Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs when necessary.
• Keep vehicles clean, organized, and presentable.
• Maintain all required CDL certifications, medical certifications, and DOT compliance requirements, including participation in required drug and alcohol testing programs.

Warehouse Operations:

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, purchase orders, and shipping documentation.
• Prepare, package, and expedite customer shipments.
• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, stretch wrap equipment, and other material handling equipment.
• Assist with inventory control and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Support facility operations, including snow removal and general warehouse organization.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of products, part numbers, and applications.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of relevant driving, warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and defensive driving practices.
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with customers, coworkers, and leadership.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, ratios, and measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, operating instructions, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain OSHA-approved forklift and crane operation certifications.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
