We are seeking a motivated and dependable Non-Commercial Driver's License (Non-CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles such as box trucks, shuttle buses, dump trucks, and flatbeds to transport goods and personnel.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow established routes and schedules precisely while maintaining adherence to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or route adjustments.
- Assist with moving equipment or freight within warehouses or job sites as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records.
Requirements
- Valid Non-Commercial Driver’s License (Non-CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, including shuttle driving, delivery routes, or route driving in various vehicle types such as box trucks or flatbeds.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and heavy equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks when required.
- Experience with heavy haul operations, tanker trucks, or heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for clear interaction with team members and clients.
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with freight handling is advantageous.
- Physical ability to load/unload cargo and move freight efficiently; comfortable working in various weather conditions.
