Required Skills
- 1–3 years of practical experience with HL7 FHIR (R4) in development, integration, or implementation roles
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML
- Familiarity with core FHIR resources such as Patient, Encounter, Observation, Orders, and Medications
- Basic knowledge of healthcare data standards and terminologies like LOINC, SNOMED, and ICD-10
- Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive learning attitude
- Experience with FHIR server platforms such as HAPI FHIR, Microsoft FHIR Server, or Smile CDR
- Exposure to EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or Athena
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and perform troubleshooting tasks
- Knowledge of healthcare privacy and security standards, including HIPAA compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- Prior experience in healthcare interoperability projects or similar environments
