Job Title: Machine Operator 1
Location: 1022 Corporate Park Way, Mebane, North Carolina 27302
Duration: 12 Months
Work Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Occasional Overtime: Fridays, 7:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
- Breaks: Two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch break
Job Overview:
The Operator 1, Machine role involves performing basic operational tasks in a controlled manufacturing environment. The position requires adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety guidelines while working under close supervision.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform basic machine operations, including feeding materials, pulling raw materials, and clearing minor machine faults.
- Package kits, complete routine cleaning functions, and conduct simple in-process quality checks.
- Accurately complete required documentation and production records.
- Assist with machine start-up, shut-down, and adjustments under supervision.
- Follow all established SOPs, quality, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with housekeeping standards.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
- Capable of performing semi-routine assignments under supervision.
