Job Description:
The Assembler III will perform a variety of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices. The role also includes setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production equipment to ensure efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly and testing operations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality specifications.
- Conduct in-process quality inspections to ensure compliance with product and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain production equipment and tools, performing basic troubleshooting as required.
- Follow clearly defined processes, adhering strictly to safety and quality guidelines.
- Accurately complete production documentation and maintain clean workspace per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed to support operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing assembly environment, preferably in medical devices.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to comprehend English-language specifications.
- Proficient in basic math and measurement tools (e.g., microscopes, gauges).
- Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work flexible or extended hours as required and maintain consistent attendance.
- Team-oriented with a cooperative attitude and adaptability to change.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Occasionally required to lift or move up to 35 pounds.
- Must meet the physical demands necessary to perform essential job functions.
