We are seeking a Head of Technical Product Management to lead the strategy, development, and execution of advanced software solutions for Transmission & Distribution (T&D) automation and control systems.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping next-generation products across grid modernization, renewable integration, and digital energy platforms, while working closely with global teams and U.S.-based customers.
Responsabilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and execute product vision and long-term roadmap for T&D software solutions (SCADA, DERMS, EMS, ADMS, Grid Analytics)
- Align product strategy with market trends, regulatory frameworks, and customer needs
- Drive innovation across grid automation and digital energy platforms
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop a team of Technical Product Managers
- Establish best practices in product lifecycle, agile methodologies, and go-to-market execution
- Foster collaboration across engineering, sales, and customer success teams
Product Development & Execution
- Define and prioritize product features and enhancements
- Work closely with engineering and delivery teams to ensure high-quality execution
- Drive adoption of cloud, AI/ML, and edge computing technologies in power systems
Market & Customer Engagement
- Engage with utilities, regulators, and industry stakeholders
- Monitor trends in grid modernization, cybersecurity, and energy transition
- Support product positioning, competitive analysis, and business development initiatives
Technical Sales Support (USA)
- Act as a technical partner to the U.S. sales organization
- Support pre-sales activities including demos, RFPs, and solution presentations
- Translate customer feedback into product improvements and roadmap evolution
Business Impact
- Define pricing, licensing, and monetization strategies
- Track KPIs to measure product success and market adoption
Skills
15 years of experience in Technical Product Management within energy / utilities
Strong background in:
- SCADA, EMS, ADMS, DERMS
- Grid automation and T&D systems
Experience with:
- Cloud platforms, AI/ML, and edge computing
- Software development environments
Proven ability to lead and scale product teams
Experience working with:
- Electric utilities
- Regulatory bodies
- Grid modernization initiatives
Knowledge of industry standards (IEC 61850, CIM, IEEE 2030.5, NERC CIP, etc.)
Experience supporting technical sales / pre-sales (plus)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
