Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate is a versatile, cross-functional role responsible for performing any combination of warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, bin replenishments, picking, packing, consolidating, and staging products for shipment.
This role has a strong focus on transaction discipline and accuracy, ensuring that every product movement is properly recorded, verified, and tracked throughout the warehouse. Assignments may vary daily based on business needs, making adaptability, attention to detail, and accountability critical for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving & Put-Away:
- Unload incoming shipments and verify product counts, descriptions, and conditions.
- Accurately record all receipts and put-away transactions in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Put away products efficiently into their designated storage locations while maintaining correct bin location and inventory accuracy.
- Consolidate items from multiple locations as needed to optimize workflow.
- Bin Replenishment & Inventory Accuracy:
- Replenish pick locations according to inventory levels and operational needs.
- Consolidate overstock locations to maximize warehouse utilization.
- Maintain accurate inventory and bin records to ensure pickers can fulfill orders efficiently.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and discrepancy resolution as needed.
- Picking & Order Fulfillment:
- Retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders using pick lists or digital devices.
- Verify product descriptions, quantities, and condition before packing or staging, ensuring 100% order accuracy.
- Record all picking transactions in the WMS.
- Packing & Shipping:
- Pack, seal, and label orders according to company standards.
- Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and damage; report any discrepancies.
- Accurately record shipping transactions and ensure proper staging of pallets for transport.
- Equipment Operation:
- Safely operate forklifts, tow-motors, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers (training provided as needed).
- General Warehouse Duties:
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
- Follow all operational procedures, with strict adherence to transaction accuracy and documentation.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, which may vary daily.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of forklift experience required; cherry picker experience preferred.
- Strong focus on accuracy, accountability, and transaction discipline.
- Ability to adapt to different warehouse tasks and assignments daily.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting 50–75 lbs for extended periods.
- Dependable, punctual, and motivated to meet or exceed performance goals.
- Previous warehouse, picking, packing, or receiving experience preferred.
- Forklift or tow-motor certification a plus (training provided).
Working Conditions
- Fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, and frequent lifting of parts and packages up to 75 lbs.
- Occasional overtime, weekends, or evening shifts may be required based on business needs.
- Exposure to standard warehouse hazards; strict adherence to safety protocols required.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
