Money Management Associate
No one's independence should be at risk because of a lack of financial assistance. As the Money Management Associate, you will promote the independence and well-being of consumers by supporting and assisting with money management needs within the guidelines of the Executive Office of Aging and Independence (AGE).
Schedule: This is a full-time, non-exempt (35 hour/week) onsite position. Monday through Friday. No nights or weekends.
Compensation: Starting annual salary is $55,000.00. Being bilingual is not a requirement for this role, but we recognize it as an asset and offer an additional 6% bilingual designation for Spanish, Haitian Creole, Russian, Vietnamese, Cantonese or Mandarin.

Job Activities:
Job activities of the position are below. Additional duties may be assigned as required.
- Conduct intake and screenings by telephone, home visits, and or video to determine consumer eligibility for the Money Management Program
- Lead in supervising, mentoring, training and supporting program volunteers; match volunteers with suitable consumers
- Administer cash distribution and bill payer service
- Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential consumer and volunteer records in accordance with applicable regulations and laws
- Prepare and submit all required reports and statistics
- Process referrals to ensure consumers receive appropriate services and programs
- Participate on applicable committees and workgroup inside and outside the agency
- Collaborate and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in social work or a related field or Associate's and 2 years of relevant experience
- Competency in working with a diverse population of consumers from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds
- Private transportation
- Individuals with previous experience or interest in working within non-profit health care/human services organizations encouraged to apply
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels, including with staff and external partners
- Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to work effectively independently or as a part of a team
- Demonstrates a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small, impossible, or cannot be improved.
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
