Duties
- Prepare a variety of baked goods and desserts with attention to detail and presentation
- Decorate cakes and pastries using advanced cake decorating techniques to create visually stunning treats
- Package food items efficiently while maintaining freshness and quality standards
- Assist in food production, ensuring all items meet safety and hygiene regulations
- Support food preparation activities, including chopping, mixing, baking, and cooking as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts with a strong portfolio of work preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and kitchen sanitation practices
- Hands-on experience with food production, including cooking, food preparation, and packaging
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with culinary tools and equipment
- Previous experience working in a bakery, restaurant, catering service or food industry setting is highly desirable
