Job Overview
Mystic Properties is seeking an experienced and motivated Batch Master/Ready-Mix Plant Operator to oversee the daily operations of our ready-mix concrete plant in the Douglas, Arizona, area. This leadership role is responsible for plant operations, quality control, crew management, maintenance coordination, and ensuring the safe and efficient production of ready-mix concrete.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily ready-mix plant operations and batching activities.
- Ensure accurate batching and loading of concrete products.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards for all concrete mixes.
- Coordinate and manage inventory of admixtures, aggregates, cement powder, and related materials.
- Lead, supervise, and support plant personnel and production crews.
- Promote and enforce all safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Perform routine plant inspections and housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized facility.
- Identify maintenance needs and advise management on plant repairs and improvements.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Maintain production records and operational documentation as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5 years Experience operating a ready-mix concrete batch plant.
- Strong knowledge of concrete mix designs, batching procedures, and quality control.
- Leadership experience managing crews in a production environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of plant maintenance practices.
- Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must have Camper to stay at Job Site
