Key Responsibilities
- Track and monitor shipments in real time using transportation management systems (TMS) and tracking tools
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, warehouses, and customers regarding shipment status and updates
- Identify and resolve delays, route issues, or delivery exceptions promptly
- Maintain accurate records of shipment progress, delays, and completed deliveries
- Provide proactive updates to internal teams and clients
- Coordinate with dispatchers and logistics planners to ensure smooth operations
- Verify pickup and delivery times, ensuring compliance with schedules
- Generate reports on shipment performance and delays.
- Escalate critical issues to management when necessary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations (preferred)
- Familiarity with TMS software, GPS tracking tools, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
