What are the responsibilities and job description for the Draftsman position at MyStaf?
Local Manufacturing Company / Draftsman
Pay: $22/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday 8-4:30
Job Duties:
- Follow specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
- Prepare both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
- Perform calculations for materials and weight limitations.
- Communicate with Engineers and incorporate knowledge gained into drawings.
- Prepare, review, and redraft alongside the engineering team.
- Ensure final designs meet customer approval.
- Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to draw manually favorable, but not essential.
- Ability to work well in a team and on your own.
- Experience in computer-aided design and drafting.
- Developed knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, and algebra.
Applicant Requirements:
- Must have a clean background.
- Pass a drug screen.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Degree from a technical college preferred.
