VP of Operations – Permanent Lighting
Full-time | Multi-State (4 Locations) | Competitive Base Profit Share
We are a fast-growing permanent outdoor lighting company with operations in four states. We design, install, and maintain high-end permanent LED lighting systems for residential and commercial properties. As we scale rapidly, we are looking for an experienced VP of Operations to lead day-to-day operations, drive efficiency, and help build the foundation for continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all operational aspects across four locations in four states, including installation crews, project management, inventory, scheduling, and quality control
- Build and refine scalable systems, processes, and SOPs that support rapid growth while maintaining high installation standards
- Manage P&L responsibility for operations; identify opportunities to improve margins and efficiency
- Ensure consistent quality, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction across all markets
- Collaborate with ownership on growth strategy, new market entry, and capacity planning
- Implement technology and tools (CRM, scheduling, inventory systems) to support multi-state operations
Ideal Qualifications
- 5 years of progressive operations leadership experience, ideally in lighting, electrical, construction, home services, or a related field
- Proven track record managing multi-location or multi-state operations
- Strong background in process improvement, team leadership, and scaling field-service businesses
- Experience with permanent outdoor LED lighting systems is a strong plus (but not required if you have deep operations expertise in a related trade)
- Comfortable with P&L ownership and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to work effectively with ownership, regional teams, and field crews
- Willingness to travel regularly between the four state locations
