The New Home Consultant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving home sales, and building strong, lasting relationships with realtors and prospective buyers. This role is critical to maintaining the presentation and professionalism of our communities, guiding buyers through the home buying process, and contributing to the achievement of company sales goals. Additionally, the New Home Consultant plays a key role in converting leads and prospects into satisfied customers, generating referrals, and cultivating strategic relationships with both customers and real estate professionals to support the overall growth and success of the organization.


Responsibilities


  • Be onsite and available during all posted business hours, arriving early to open the model home and remaining onsite through closing.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the community and model home to identify maintenance needs and ensure an exceptional first impression.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of sales collateral, marketing materials, and office supplies, and communicate marketing needs as they arise.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local real estate agents, including office visits, presentations, and participation in networking events.
  • Make daily prospecting calls to realtors and engage the broader community to strengthen brand awareness and generate interest in new homes.
  • Greet prospective buyers and guide them through the sales process, clearly communicating the value of owning a Hunter Quinn home.
  • Respond promptly to all leads and inquiries, conduct timely follow-up, and support prospective buyers throughout their decision-making process.
  • Facilitate the completion and explanation of all purchase documents, ensuring accuracy, required signatures, and proper documentation in the lot filing system.
  • Continuously improve sales performance by participating in training, reviewing sales resources, and engaging in company-sponsored development opportunities.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the Project Manager to review construction progress and community updates.
  • Provide weekly construction updates to buyers and their agents, documenting all communications and helping manage expectations.
  • Communicate regularly with lenders to monitor loan status and ensure a smooth financing and closing process.
  • Distribute all contract documents to buyers, agents, lenders, and closing attorneys in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist buyers with scheduling necessary appointments, including mortgage meetings, inspections, orientations, and closings.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to monitor and achieve sales goals, proactively identifying opportunities to increase traffic and improve conversion.
  • Communicate customer needs and requests to internal departments to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Seek creative and strategic ways to market the community and enhance visibility in the local market.


Qualifications


  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Appropriate real estate license or certifications as required by the state.
  • Completion of the Sales Associate Learning and Certification Program.
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Previous new home sales or real estate experience preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends and attend occasional after-hours events.
