Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Parts Department Manager at MYRTLE BEACH CHRYSLER JEEP, located in Myrtle Beach, SC. The Parts Department Manager will provide prompt and accurate service to our busy service department, oversee inventory control, manage service parts procurement, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain customer satisfaction. Day-to-day responsibilities also include coordinating with vendors, monitoring stock levels, and leading a team to optimize operations within the parts department.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service to build positive relationships with clients and ensure a premium experience in the parts department.
- Proven expertise in Inventory Control and Inventory Management to effectively monitor stock levels, reduce waste, and maintain efficient operations.
- Experience with Franchise Dealership Parts, including procurement, organization, and distribution, to meet the needs of the service department and external clients.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, team management experience, and excellent communication skills to guide the team and collaborate with other departments.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges and ensure seamless workflow.
- Automotive industry experience will be considered a strong asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; proficiency with Reynolds & Reynolds DMS, and further certification in automotive services or management is a plus.
