Job Overview
We are seeking an auditing team director, preferablly, Chinse billingle & big 4 background, familiar with audit planning program index (source code), especially hedge fund, alternative hedge fund (OTC) industeries. Accounting major with CPA license must.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of financial statements and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, including recommendations for improvements in financial processes.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for potential risk.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for audits and provide guidance on regulatory reporting requirements.
- Utilize financial software and accounting tools to streamline audit processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Stay updated on changes in governmental accounting standards and tax regulations that may impact the organization.
- Assist in the development of internal controls and procedures to improve financial management practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial auditing or regulatory reporting within the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, governmental accounting practices, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
