Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Laser Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art CNC laser cutting machines to produce precise metal components according to technical specifications. Your expertise will ensure high-quality production, adherence to safety standards, and efficient workflow. Duties
- Set up and operate laser cutting machines, ensuring accurate calibration and alignment for each job.
- Program laser machines using specialized software, adjusting parameters for optimal performance and quality.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laser equipment,
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, document production data accurately, and follow safety standards in all operations.
- Receives work orders and material from kanban cart.
- Scans order compare imprint on screen to imprint on order sheet.
- Specifies laser order amount (Automark stops when order is complete).
- Logs all orders on production sheets.
- Observes imprint quality.
- Notifies Mechanic of any equipment problems.
- Notifies Laser Coordinator of any incorrect job setups.
- Limits work in Trueview (manual job setups).
- Performs other allied duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Experience
- Some PC knowledge desirable but not necessary. Must be able to communicate, read, write and
- speak English fluently to perform job functions. Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Must be able to
- work overtime as needed.
