Food Services Supervisor

myPlace Care Partners, P.C.
Compton, CA Full Time
POSTED ON 4/14/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 6/9/2026

myPlace Health is built around a simple but powerful belief: older adults deserve the support they need to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own communities. As a PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly) organization backed by SCAN Group, myPlace Health brings together customized medical care, social activities, and daily support for participants and their families – all under one roof.

Our centers are more than healthcare facilities. They are vibrant community hubs where participants are known by name, valued, and supported as whole people. Behind that experience is a dedicated, interdisciplinary team working together to coordinate care, remove barriers, and improve quality of life for some of the most medically and socially complex populations.

For employees, myPlace Health offers the opportunity to do deeply meaningful work in a highly collaborative setting. Team members are encouraged to contribute innovative ideas, and grow alongside a mission that prioritizes compassion, respect, and impact. The result is a culture where people feel connected—to their colleagues, their participants, and the communities they serve.

At myPlace Health, work is more than a job. It’s a shared commitment to honoring what matters most.

At myPlace, we believe that nourishing meals and compassionate service are essential parts of caring for our participants. As the Food Services Supervisor, you’ll lead and support our food services team to ensure safe, nutritious, and culturally sensitive meals are prepared and served daily to older adults enrolled in our PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program.
This isn’t just about following recipes — it’s about creating an environment where every meal supports health, dignity, and comfort. You’ll work in a setting that feels more like home than a facility, surrounded by a team that shares your passion for service and your respect for the people we care for.
If you have a love for food, a gift for leadership, and a heart for making a difference, this is the role where all three come together.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead by example – Roll up your sleeves as a working supervisor, joining your team in the kitchen for food preparation, service, and cleanup—because leadership tastes best when it’s served alongside teamwork.
  • Inspire your crew – Guide and motivate a talented team of dietary aides and utility staff, coordinating schedules, delegating tasks, and keeping operations running smoothly.
  • Grow your team’s potential – Partner with our Center Manager to provide feedback, coaching, and encouragement, creating a positive and respectful environment for everyone.
  • Keep it safe – Ensure our kitchen follows all local, state, and federal food safety guidelines—because great meals start with safe kitchens.
  • Make mealtime special – Bring joy to the table by ensuring meals are nutritious and tailored to each participant’s therapeutic, cultural, and religious preferences.
  • Collaborate for care – Work hand in hand with our Registered Dietitians and Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to meet special dietary needs.
  • Serve with style – Oversee perfect portioning, beautiful plating, and timely delivery—because presentation matters.
  • Pack care to go – Prepare and complete “To Go” kitchen requests, from snacks to frozen meals, so participants have care that travels with them.
  • Protect quality every day – Monitor food storage, temperatures, logs, cleanliness, and equipment functionality.
  • Stay proactive – Conduct regular audits and safety checks, fixing any hiccups right away.
  • Run the pantry like a pro – Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and storing supplies while reducing waste and promoting sustainability.
  • Work as one team – Collaborate with leadership and IDT members for daily operations, special events, and emergency meal planning.
  • Be the voice that listens – Connect with participants and caregivers, hearing their feedback and making sure everyone feels cared for.
  • Jump in when needed – Step up wherever necessary to keep the our center beating strong.

We seek Rebels who are curious about AI and its power to transform how we operate and serve our members.
